A native of Washington D.C. who has found a home in Columbus Ohio, I am an artist, graphic designer and co-founder of Tribal Affairs Art Marketing and Concepts.

 

Taking it to the next level and pushing the bar is how I find my high in the arts. Being an artist is about the inspiration you get when you have an idea and lose sleep so you can get it on canvas, with that gut feeling telling you to push harder because you believe you're going to make it. This is what I seek.

My work depicts a very raw form of various emotions and environments through the use of bold colors, lines and markings. I look for my audience to create their own meaning for the each piece which allows them to dig deeper for more understanding. Getting lost in line work is what I love to do, without a set direction --- but instead with a very particular feeling I'm looking to capture in every painting.

I am a graduate of The Art Institute of Washington D.C. with a BFA in advertising, which allowed me to have a broader range within the arts, and an in-depth understanding of where I stand as an artist. Yet, at the end of the day it's all about the experience. Having the chance to see the world and its various cultures has humbled me and transformed my experience into an empathy towards the world. I have the heart of an entrepreneur and the mind of a painter --- one who is ultimately looking for the inspiration for my next big piece.
